New York City As a Tourists Destination

New York City is a city full of culture, history, diversity and world famous sights. It offers the perfect vacation for every kind of traveler from those who are looking for culture filled trips to the hundreds of museums and art galleries to someone just looking to check out the nightlife and do some shopping. The city is best reached by flying to JFK international airport. JFK is located in Queens to the east of the City and is a major international hub.

You cant go far in New York without stumbling upon something to do or catching a glimpse of a famous landmark. While its a great idea to stray off the tourist path if you want to discover some of the cites hidden treasures, no trip is complete without taking in a few of the city’s most famous icons like the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and Times Square. If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of thecity you can take a walk through the calm green oasis of Central Park.

The City is split into five boroughs Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island each of which is big enough to be considered a city in its own right. All of the boroughs are worth visiting and each has their own distinctive feel and look and even within each borough the neighborhoods can be completely different. Manhattan is probably the most famous to tourists and is home to trendy areas like SoHo and Greenwich and some of the more culturally diverse areas like Chinatown and Little Italy. Brooklyn is the most populous borough and is know for its beaches music venues and fantastic views of the Manhattan skyline.

There is an endless amount of things to do 24 hours a day every day of the week. Its no wonder then that New York City attracts millions of tourists every year.
